Edward I Koch, Mayor: frozen in time in the Bronx
June 20th, 2010 at 12:05 pm ETHigh up on the side of a NYCHA apartment tower in the southeast Bronx — plainly visible from the southbound Bruckner Expressway on the Triboro Bridge approach, I’m guessing somewhere within a few blocks of here — there is a sign that clearly reads “Edward I. Koch, Mayor.” I know it’s hard to get all the way up there, but you’d think that in the past 20 years, someone would have gotten around to it, no?
